When To Drink
Perfect to drink immediately.
Tasting Notes
Golden yellow, the nose has fresh and delicate notes: the hints of sage, Mediterranean scrub and green pepper dominate. The fruit comes later: yellow peaches and ripe pineapples. At the end the mineral salts, with a decisive sapidity given by the reverberations of the volcanic soil.
The palate is supported by a pleasant acidity and a good expressive freshness.
Vinification and Refinement
Direct pressing of whole grapes with static settling of the must for about 30 hours.
Alcoholic fermentation for 16 days, subsequent refinement in steel tanks for 5 months.
Natural decantation with 3 racked during the refinement.
Vineyard
Campi Flegrei area, vineyards on sandy and friable soils, rich in tuff, volcanic soil.
