When To Drink
Perfect wine to drink immediately, but can evolve well if left to rest in the cellar
Tasting Notes
Deep and deep ruby ​​red color, intense raspberry and blackberry, embroidered on a spice of toasted vanilla.
Full-bodied, savory and robust, with a pleasant hint of chocolate.
Vinification and Refinement
Fermentation in red. After about ten days it is drawn off and, kept warm, it carries out the malolactic fermentation.
It rests for twenty-four months in small 225 liter wooden barrels; stop for another six months in steel to mix the individual barrels and then finally bottled, ready to rest for another 6 months in the bottle.
Vineyard
Teroldego on the old Schwarzmannn rootstock (V.Riparia x V. Rupestris).
Ground made up of pebbles, called “sassi robi”, covered by a superficial layer of vegetable earth.
