When To Drink
Perfect wine to drink immediately, but can evolve well if left to rest in the cellar. We advise you to let the wine ‘breathe’ at least 60 minutes before serving.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red color with brick red reflections; on the nose there are hints of vanilla, toasted tobacco, licorice, black pepper, black cherry in alcohol; on the palate it is clean, elegant, ethereal, persuasive, intensely complex and there are hints of bitter cocoa and toasted coffee.
Vinification and Refinement
The grapes rest in 50 hectoliter tanks at a controlled temperature, for an initial settling period, following the Scansano tradition, then mature for 12-18 months in 500 and 5000l barrels. Before being marketed, it ages for a further 6 months in the bottle.
