When To Drink
Perfect wine to drink immediately, but can evolve well if left to rest in the cellar
Tasting Notes
Golden yellow color with amber hues, the aromas are reminiscent of dried apricots, rennet apple, citron and orange peel. A vegetal nuance emerges as a background for slight hints of flint. The palate is saline, taut and rich. Balsamic note and imperceptible tannins. It shows structure, character and the marked freshness makes it persistent.
Vinification and Refinement
Soft pressing of the grapes, and subsequent fermentation at room temperature in 250 liter terracotta amphorae. The maceration with peels and stems, with consequent racking in the amphorae and the refinement in steel complete the realization.
Vineyard
In Terzigno – Boscoreale on sandy and volcanic soils at an altitude of 250-350 meters with south-west exposure. The vine is called “La Rotonda”, at the foot of Vesuvius.
