When To Drink
Wine good to drink now, but that can have a beautiful evolution after resting for a while in your cellar. We recommend you to let the wine ‘breathe’ at least 60 minutes before serving
Tasting Notes
Brilliant ruby red colour. The nose is elegant with pleasant notes of red fruits among which cherry and raspberry stand out, which leave room for floral hints. It continues with pleasant spicy puffs to close with light hints of tobacco. Dry and well balanced on the palate; it amazes for its elegant structure and excellent persistence but also for the correspondence between the aromas and the flavour.
Vinification and Refinement
The grapes are harvested strictly by hand and only the selected ones are taken to the cellar for vinification. After fermentation, the wine rests for at least 18 months in chestnut barrels. Once bottled, it refines for a few more months in the cellar before being placed on the market.
Vineyard
Lamole, a small village about 600 meters above sea level, more precisely in the Greve in Chianti region between the provinces of Florence and Siena.
