When To Drink
Wine ready to drink immediately, but it can evolve well and you can let it rest in the cellar for even more than 4-5 years.
Tasting Notes
Bright garnet red. In the glass it opens with notes of cinchona and small ripe red fruits, with hints of thyme and incense. On the palate the tannin is velvety and is accompanied by an important balsamic note and dried violet flowers. An exciting wine for the complexity and elegance it contains.
Vinification and Refinement
Crushing and destemming, maceration on the skins for about 15-20 days. After racking, the wine is left to age in large capacity oak barrels and barrels for about 18 months. Complete the maturation in stainless steel before bottling. Aging in bottles lying down for at least 6 months before packaging and shipping.
Vineyard
Sarmassa in the Municipality of Barolo, Guyot cultivation.
Vineyard exposure to the South with an altitude of 250-260 metres.
