When To Drink
Perfect wine to drink immediately, but can evolve well if left to rest in the cellar. We advise you to let the wine ‘breathe’ at least 15-30 minutes before serving
Tasting Notes
Garnet red in color, it offers the nose decisive hints of ripe currants, wild violets, chestnut leaves, iris, geranium, licorice root, eucalyptus, cinchona, coffee powder and vegetable hints. Initially velvety on the palate, followed by a nice tannic grit and supported by decisive freshness. Persistent and long in vegetal and balsamic sensations.
Vinification and Refinement
The grapes ferment at a controlled temperature, macerating on the skins for 8 days, then ageing for two years in wood and being bottled.
Vineyard
Municipality of Barbaresco.
